The HPc DC motor operates powerfully and quietly with a soft start and stop control making installation easier and door travel smoother (an improvement over AC motors). The Chain Drive 500 has a precision factory-assembled chain drive system that provides long and reliable performance. The precision machined motor and gearbox are greased and factory sealed from the environment for long lasting reliable performance. The garage door opener features Genies “SmartSet” programming making for fast and easy setup with the simple push of a button. For added security the Chain Drive 500 is enhanced with “Intellicode” security technology that changes the access code on each door activation to help prevent unauthorized access. The included Safe-T-Beam system helps prevent accidents via an invisible infrared beam across the door opening that will reverse the door if an object crosses the LED beam of light. “HomeLink” and “Car2U” compatibility links to cars built-in remote system. Unit works on residential sectional garage doors up to 7′ in height and 350lbs in weight. Accessories included: 1 Pre-Programmed single button remote lighted push button and a self diagnostic Safe-T-Beam system.
